I would say it would work anywhere in the house, but you probably wouldn't want it everywhere in the house. This is a full color, though a very charming one.

It's a strong enough color that it can go traditional or modern. It can be used on front doors or ceilings with a more modern palette or on walls with white trim for more traditional. I could see it in an antique store or a hip hotel.
